Ralf Kutschke

"In a train through North Korea"

Exhibition: November 5-30, 2016

LiTE-HAUS Galerie + Projektraum welcomes photographer Ralf Kutschke’s exhibition “In a train through North Korea”. Kutschke presents photos of his travels through both urban and rural areas of this mysterious country that few Westerners have experienced.

Kutschke, a photographer who also works with the German railroad Deutsche Bahn, traveled to North Korea in October 2015 with the intent to make his own impressions firsthand. In a special train from the Chinese border in the north he went to the North Korean capital of Pyongyang and further south to Panmunjom, at the high-security border to South Korea.

Kutschke observed landscape and lifestyle rarely seen by outsiders up close. Now you can share in his journey through his photos of the rugged and beautiful country of North Korea.

You can download a flyer written in both German and English language, with more details about his journey here.

LiTE-HAUS Galerie encourages cross cultural exploration, and this exhibition is an example of how we bring images from other cultures to share with our community.
