Jolly Kunjappu, is a painter, musician, writer and performer. Born in Chennai, India he now lives in Munich and Berlin. His thirst for freedom and peace took him to more than 140 countries learning about other cultures and their way of life. His painting on the Berlin East Side Gallery monument "Dancing to Freedom" is alongside other paintings from artists with a shared vision of unity. He has written books, composed and performed ballet music for the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and played percussion on the Rolling Stones Album "It’s only Rock n‘Roll" - and was presented a golden album. He dedicates his art for freedom, peace and future for all.
LiTE-HAUS will present his paintings and text in a multidimensional exhibition which will also include performance. The three bright white rooms will be filled with colorful art, and display “thoughts” by the artist. This collaboration will create a welcoming environment where visitors can also engage with the artists and each other. We encourage dialog, reflection, and connection during this vibrant presentation.
