Park Doo is an abstract painter who lives and works in South Korea and Japan. He studied at Tokyo Musashino Art University and has had 3 solo exhibitions in Korea and Japan. He was a professor at Kyungwoon University in South Korea for 18 years.
His artworks expresses the Eastern way of thinking with Western materials. Eastern thinking values content rather than form. He draws with pastels the “inner soul” and finishes with silkscreen ink.
A long time ago, Korean artists painted only in black paint. Artwork had to be dynamic.
