BOOM! BLOOM!
19 - 21. June 2020
EXHIBITION + PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
This is our fifth year participating in the 48 Hours Neukölln festival. We have both galerie and online exhibitions this weekend.
Inside LiTE-HAUS we have Sun Youngeun's exhibition "SINK". Meet the artist!
LiTE-HAUS owner - artist Debbie Davies - created BOOM! BLOOM! - an interactive project about the crash of the global flower market. We will post a link to it when the festival begins.
Participate by making paper flowers, following her instructional video on this page. Share your creations on social media using #BOOMBLOOM48 Your art might become part of a future exhibition
You can experience the festival online via social media platforms YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

48 Stunden Neukölln festival theme 2020 is BOOM! Berlin is a “Boomtown”, a hot spot of the art world. Neukölln has for years been a key location for experimentation, artistic research, and unconventional presentation. The word “BOOM” sounds positive. But what happens when a pandemic disrupts the economy - specifically, the flower market. The "Blumen" market is no longer "Booming" in Berlin, artist Debbie Davies explains.
