LiTE-HAUS owner-artist Debbie T. Davies explores consumerism, materialism, and waste with her paper flower assemblages. She "re-forms" discarded paperwork into "paper flowers". The material is almost unrecognizable until closer inspection. The resulting artworks are tactile, delicate, and alluring.

Aside from owning the gallery, Davies has long operated a finance business in New York, which exposes her to paperwork waste. Even with the digital capacity of this modern age, people still collect and discard paper.

Considering the global call for action about the ecological crisis of trash management and recycling, the act of using existing material to create works of art is one way Davies chooses to participate in eco-activism.
