LiTE-HAUS welcomes four artists of the group "Die Saat" who bring their unique visions together for a provocative and eclectic group exhibition "Durch Gärung veredelt" ("Refined by fermentation").  The works has been made possible and presented by ETBK - Erfolgsteam bildende Künste.

This is the first joint exhibition of Die Saat, which was founded in late 2017 and featuring almost 50 works by Anja Asche (installation), Karin Harboe (organic painting), Daria Olejniczak (objects and collages) and Nadja Schüller-Ost (painting and graphic arts). Their art work demonstrates convincingly how the tedious act of creation sows the seeds, how an idea germinates, how it grows and transforms into a picture or into a three-dimensional structure, how it provokes, stimulates thought and action or simply celebrating the creative energy and the inexhaustible potential of the universe. Although the four artists living in Berlin use different techniques, media, materials and forms of expression to illustrate the moving individual and social problems. Their oeuvre is the result of a long inner process in which they are gaining awareness of the oddities, abuses and contradictions of nowadays, and receiving and decoding the world in their work. It's a process that can be compared to fermentation: what is fermenting for a long time becomes art at last.

„Durch Gärung veredelt“

heißt die erste gemeinsame Ausstellung der Ende 2017 gegründeten Gruppe Die Saat, in der knapp 50 Werke von Anja Asche (Installation), Karin Harboe (Organische Malerei), Daria Olejniczak (Objekte und Collagen) und Nadja Schüller-Ost (Malerei und Grafik) gezeigt werden. Ihre Kunst führt überzeugend vor, wie im langwierigen Akt der Schöpfung die Saat aufgeht, wie eine Idee keimt, wie sie wächst und sich in ein Bild oder in ein dreidimensionales Gebilde verwandelt, wie sie provoziert, zum Denken und Handeln anregt oder einfach nur die kreative Energie und das unerschöpfliche Potenzial des Universums feiert. Obwohl sich die vier in Berlin lebenden Künstlerinnen verschiedener Techniken, Medien, Materialien und Ausdrucksformen bedienen, um die sie bewegenden individuellen und gesellschaftlichen Probleme zu veranschaulichen, ist ihr Œuvre das Ergebnis eines langen inneren Prozesses, in dem sie die Merkwürdigkeiten, Missstände und Widersprüche der heutigen Welt registrieren, rezipieren und in ihren Arbeiten dekuvrieren. Es ist ein Prozess, der mit Gärung verglichen werden kann: Was lange gärt, wird endlich Kunst.
